Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mistral Horjis European Vicechampion Team and Individual Bronce GPS 2009

gets Bronce, Netherland wins Gold. The level of performance of the best horses is higher than ever on any Chmpionship
in history, is the judges comment.

In the Grand Prix Special, Laura and Mistral Horjis get with an exceptional test the Individual Bronce Medal with 80,083%, (british Record), beating Anky van Grunsven and Salinero taking the 4. place. Parzival and Adelinde Cornelissen win Gold with an outstanding performance, Edward Gal and Totilas win Silver.
In the Grand Prix Kur, Mistral Horjis and Laura Bechtolsheimer take the 4. place with over 81%,(british Record), Anky van Grunsven and Salinero getting Bronce, Totilas and Edward Gal win Gold, Adelinde Cornelissen and Parzival Silver.
Mistral Horjis was discovered by us in Denmark, the Becholsheimer family bought him as a ten year old, with exceptional Piaffe and Passage and 3 outstanding paces, but with a huge canter and no one tempi changes, even with his really strong
and experienced owner.
We could convince the Bechtolsheimer family, who are really experienced and risktaking horse lovers, to buy the horse, our opinion was that the horse just needed a great change in the training system to make it more athletic in the canter work to get the one tempis.
Later we all learnt, that already several famous riders had tried the horse, too afraid to take the risk although Mistral Horjis could be sometimes really naughty on competitions.
Mistral Horjis placed already 6. individually at the European Championships Young Riders 5 month later, winning the Bronce Team Medal as the best British Horse. In Oktober, he became British Champion St. Georg, doing 15 one tempi changes at home with ease.
The season 2009 was a great success story for Laura and Mistral Horjis:
Hertogenbosch: First places in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special with 76,5 and 75,35%,
Hagen: First places in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special,
The international judge, Peter Holler, commentating the rides in internet tv, sees Mistral Horjis as one of the best 5 horses in the world!!!
Lingen: 2. places in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special.
Laura Bechtolsheimer kept her charming, tender, cool and selfcritical personality, she and Alf got already a great number of fans, not only in Great Britain. Her own internet comments about her and Alfs performances show her great fairness to her horse and her
competitors.

Laura Bechtolsheimer
Laura Bechtolsheimer became already 2005, as the youngest rider ever, British Champion in the Grand Prix on her other horse Douglas Dorsey.
Her father and trainer, Dr. W.O. Bechtolsheimer bought the black gelding by Donnerhall through us first for himself, having some great results with Douglas Dorsey. But already then he planned to hand over the horse to Laura to compete in the Young Riders and Grand Prix Tour.
Laura got in 2004 as the best british rider at the European Championship Young Riders with Douglas Dorsey Team Bronce, placing 5. individually.
2005 : Englands New dreamteam: Laura Bechtolsheimer
and Douglas Dorsey
Competing with the german topriders Ann-Katrin
Linsenhoff, Nadine Capellmann and Hubertus Schmidt, Englands 19 years old Laura
Bechtolsheimer with the 15 years-old Douglas Dorsey (Donnerhall) wins the Grand
Prix Kür at the famous CDI Bremen with 74,13%!!! Already in the Grand
Prix, they placed sensationally second with 70%, first place went to Ann-Katrin
Linsenhoff with Sterntaler Unicef. Our Austrian client Nina Stadlinger and
Egalité got outstanding results with 4th place in Grand Prix with 68,63%
and 5th place with 72,8% in the Grand Prix Kür.

Laura Bechtolsheimer, Douglas Dorsay
CDI Stadl Paura 2005: Victories for
Nina Stadlinger and Egalité
Austrian Nina Stadlinger and Egalité were at the CDI Stadl Paura this
year unbeatable: First place with 72% in Grand Prix B beating Victoria Max-Theurer
and Agrigento; First place with sensationell 77,875% (Austrain Record!!!) in
Grand Prix Kür, again second Victoria Max-Theurer with Agrgento.

Nina Stadlinger and Egalite
At the CDIO Aachen 2002, the international judge Christoph
Hess gave the following comment about the Grand Prix of Egalite:"A really
exellent horse and rider combination....extensions in trot outstanding...absolute
highlight were the piaffe/passage tour, especially for the deep-sitting piaffe
and the transitions, marks of 8 or 9 could have been given. An exquisite
pair for the international Grand Prix Sport." Ninas way to success began
with the purchase of the 7-years-old Egalite by her father, ignoring her opposite
opinion. She was four times Austrian Champion in Juniors and Young Riders classes,
2002 Senior Champion and getting individually fourth place at the European
Championships for Juniors in Birmingham. Mr. Stadlingers opinion:"I only
had to buy one horse, to get these unbelievable results. I just trusted our
trainer Günter Zach and the knowledge of Bernhard A. Ix, who also helped
us from time to time with special training."

2005 : GP-Victories
for Lord Sinclair and Claudia Haller-Petzold

Lord Sinclair
The 12 years old dutch bred stallion Lord
Sinclair wins with Claudia Haller Petzold (Rhineland) the Grand
Prix in Kaarst-Büttgen with 69,2%, second is Heiner Schiergen
with Goethe.
At the Rhineland Championships in
Langenfeld, they placed second in the Grand Prix Special.
After a third place in the Grand Prix
(60 starters) at the Silverthof in Oer-Erkenschwick, they win
the Grand Prix Kür with outstanding 73,78%, second is
US-Olympian Christine Traurig with her More Magic 8 with 72,86%.
Since the beginning of 2004, Lord
Sinclair had 14 victories from Prix St. Georg to Grand Prix.
The judges and the spectators are
always very enthusiastic about his outstanding movements, his
perfect rideabilty and his strong points in both collected
lessons and extensions.

Gonnelijn Rothenberger and Weyden

Jonggor`s Weyden, 1995 via Bernhard A. Ix
sold to Sven Rothenberger/Gordijn, is now succeeding with Gonnelijn Rothenberger.
After high rankings in several International Horseshows, they were 5th in the
Dutch National Dressage Championship.
At the CHIO Aachen 2000, they got the highest placement of all Dutch Competitors,
with 72,84% in Grand Prix Special and 75,8% in the Kür.
In 1995, several horsedealers did not evaluate Weyden`s qualities. They thought
that he was too tall, too heavy and not elegant enough.
Six months after he was sold, he won with Sven Rothenberger 1996 at the Olympic
Games in Atlanta Teamsilver and Individual Bronce!
For Sven Rothenberger, Weyden is the perfect dressagehorse: intelligent, three
supergaits, easy to collect and with a wonderful character. "Weyden is
my most successful horse." |
